God, will you lead me to how you want me to worship you instead of how I have grown comfortable worshipping you?
His Word says: 
“…, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts, giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:18-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭150:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬
There is something significant about opening our hearts in worship. That from our own lips- songs and praises to our God would be brought from the inside, outwards.
Romans 12 talks about our living bodies being a holy sacrifice. A sacrifice that He would find pleasing. In whole, surrendering ourselves to Him is truly the way to worship Him!!

The fact that I’ve accepted Him means that I am now called to love like Jesus did, live like Jesus did and surrender like Jesus did. 
That won’t always look pretty or be easy, it won’t feed my ego or pride or any other momentary desire or satisfaction. Often times, it won’t be comfortable at all but, it will please Him. It will make Him smile and it will align our hearts with His presence. 
We all have either experienced this freedom or we have the opportunity to embrace this freedom; no matter which side you find yourself today- in this moment we have the opportunity to express to God everything that is in our hearts.
Let’s take a moment to define Faith. Faith is believing what is not seen. Believing that He is greater than my sin, my shame, my insecurities. Faith is believing that He is greater than my feelings, my thoughts and my situation.
This act of belief, gives us the power to overcome our comfort zone and overcome everything that is holding us back. When you begin to worship God, step into His Presence by Faith and worship Him the way the Spirit longs to. The way we truly desire to enjoy His presence without any barrier or distraction!
As you worship, I encourage you to claim your space and lean into where God is leading you. Take that step of Faith. 
Galatians /Galatas 5:16-17
“So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do 
just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. 
And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other.

MANY times we let our comfort zone, our fear, our shame, our guilt, our flesh stop us from worshiping God.  We bottle up the Holy Spirit so we don't have to worry about what others say or think about us. 
Your worship is an act of FAITH, because Worshipping through everything is an act of Faith. Worship says “God you are greater and you are above everything else in my life.” 
Let your Faith speak how Great He is. However small that act of Faith may seem, if that’s what you have, that is everything. 
Raising your hands, a dance, a song, a cry, bowing down. Every part of you will try to convince you not to worship freely in the Spirit- do it anyways, I promise you,  it will be worth it.
To finish, 
Faith, no matter how small, moves mountains in your life. Faith, no matter how small, breaks down walls. Faith, no matter how small, brings breakthrough.
Let your act of worship be filled with Faith. That is the way that is good and pleasing to the Father!
Prayer :
God give us the valor to claim the space around us as an atmosphere of Worship. Let us be able to dig deeper and deeper into your Presence. Let everything going on around me disappear in light of your Greatness. 
What I see happening and what I don’t see. I believe that you are God and you are Worthy of a full and undivided worship. You are worthy of my entire life and there is no place I would rather be than here in your presence.
