Everything is so easy when we surrender our soul and our heart to God. Now that I have experienced God's grace and love in my life, I can see everything differently.

Now I can love, forgive, and endure. Walk this life with so much peace, joy, hope, security, and freedom; thanks to the perfect sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for me. Accepting His wonderful love, knowing Him, believing Him, and obeying Him means that I can live fully with immense gratitude for the many undeserved blessings He has given.

Jesus said to the people who believed in him:

“You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:31-32 NLT

“As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!”

Psalms 119:7 NLT

This wasn't always the case. My heart was full of resentment, bitterness, pride, and pain for the lack of God in my life. Pride took control of my feelings and emotions, hardening my heart without a care about the great damage it caused me. I lived with a sick spirit that prevented me from functioning in life with the abilities that God gives us.

His great love, grace, and mercy reached me. It showed me his blessed plan of redemption and equipped me with his Holy Spirit, who is in me and with me to help me in every circumstance of this life.

He is my strength and refuge in my weaknesses. My consolation, peace, and hope when in pain, and my guide in every decision. He corrects my faults, teaches me the right thing, and reminds me that I have control of my emotions, feelings, and in arguments.

His word says:

”All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

2 Timothy 3: 16-17 NLT

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

2 Timothy 1:7 NLT

It is essential to seek his wisdom, renew the mind, love his instructions, and obey so that when we have to face the pain, the different trials, the lessons; we are able grow, mature, and endure the processes. Some may break us, but they have a purpose of getting closer to God.

Proverbs 2 talks about the benefits of wisdom.

“My son, pay attention to what I say and treasure my mandates.

Tune your ears to wisdom and focus on understanding.

He cries out for intelligence and asks for understanding.

Look for them as if they were silver, as if they were hidden treasures.

Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord and you will gain knowledge of God.

Well, the Lord grants wisdom!

Knowledge and understanding come from his mouth.”

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Romans 12:2 NLT

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

Romans 8:28 NLT

Let's choose to continue advancing to our ultimate destination in complete security and to enjoy the journey.

Prayer:

We ask God to give us full awareness of His will for our lives and to grant us wisdom and spiritual understanding. Then the way we live will always honor and please the Lord and our lives will produce all kinds of good fruits. In the meantime, we will grow as we learn to know God more and more.

“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.”

Colossians 1:9-14NLT
