How hard it is to trust in God when life seems hard and difficult;
your process already seems to take so long and they keep coming one after another.
You get to a point where you ask God: Do you not love me any more?
Am I doing something wrong?
Why am I going through so much when all I do is serve you and serve others?
I live for you God.
I have asked so many questions and cried out to God when I am
feeling weak, tired and overwhelmed. I just want to be that person that smiles and encourages and motivates others like I used to.
But how can I now? When I am feeling unworthy, sad or depressed.
What good example am I now?
Now, this is the beauty of being children of God. That we know, that no matter what we go through in life, as long as we have Him, we will over come it.
You may not feel it at that moment, but God will come through. This too shall pass, but you also need to do your part. Don't let yourself get stuck in what ever you’re going through or feeling. There is help, first in God and then the people God places out there to help us and medicine that can help us feel better. (Remember it is only temporary)
God can heal us completely, without a doubt. You may ask yourself, why hasn’t God healed you or I?
Here are some Bible verses that help me understand my process.
If you read the Book of Job, with prayer, God will give you understanding and answer a lot of the doubts you have.
Job 1:21
"Naked I came from my mothers womb, and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the lord has taken away; May the name of the Lord be praised."
1 Peter 5:10
“In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.”
The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God (who has great plans for us in Christ and what glorious plans they are!) will have you put together and on your feet for good!
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart! Because I have overcome the world”
I Peter 4:12
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that comes on you to test, as though something strange were happening to you.
If you’re going through a process, rejoice in the Lord. He will give you strength & courage to overcome what you’re going through. And know that even in our darkest struggles, it is part of God’s plan to draw you closer to Him. It's painful but it is beautiful at the same time because you find yourself in a deeper intimacy with God where you surrender your all to Him.
Also know that nothing shall seperate us from the love of God. This will only get us closer. When you’re serving God and you devote yourself to him, you will face tribulatons just like Jesus did, but walk in Victory because you will not be defeated. And if you are not healed, it is because God wants everyone to see how you proclaim and praise God in your suffering.
God’s plans are different for everyone. Some will be healed, some won't. It is a Mystery.
But it’s God’s Will. This is where we trust in
God in our process, because we know we will spend eternity with no sufferring with Him and then, you will be healed!
Walk in Victory.
